He was a staunch believer of Islam and so, after the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W), he carried his message of love and benevolence. He advised Muslims to love other human beings and be kind to them.
Develop in your heart the feeling of love for your people and let it be the source of kindliness and blessing to them. Do not behave with them like a barbarian, and do not appropriate to yourself which belongs to them.

At one place Hazrat Ali (R.A.) said,
When you cannot give the weak and oppressed anything then at least show mercy and kindness towards them.

Show compassion to the young in your family and reverence to the old.
Be a Source of Bliss
